I knew a Man
Who was not known by the world.

I knew a Man
Who would offer His hand.

I knew a Man
Who was a Father.

I knew a Man
Who was a Husband.

I knew a Man
Who gave me his precious daughter.

I knew a Man
Who was a Preacher.

I knew a Man
Who was a Neighbor.

I knew a Man
Who had Integrity.

I knew a Man
Who had Respect.

I knew a Man
Who lived a Christian Life.

I knew a Man
Who can never be replaced.

I know a Man
Who I will see again in Glory.

In Honor of my Precious Father-In-Law, Roscoe Johnson. A Saint of God, shared with us from 3/14/27 to 2/2/08. A man who would want the world to know:

John 14: 6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 10: 10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 3: 16: 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

ISAIAH 40:31

CHORUS:
THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH;
THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES & FLY.
THEY SHALL RUN AND NOT BE WEARY; THEY SHALL WALK AND NOT FAINT;
THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH.

VERSE 1:
GOD IS BIGGER THAN OUR TROUBLES AND HE’S BIGGER THAN OUR TRIALS;
HE’LL GO WITH US ON LIFE’S JOURNEY; HE’LL WALK WITH US EVERY MILE.
WHEN YOUR TRIALS ARE SURROUNDING YOU; AND YOU THINK HE’S LEFT YOUR SIDE;

THEY TRAVELED THROUGH THE WILDERNESS, AND CAME TO THE RED SEA.
THERE WAS NO WAY TO CROSS IT, BUT THEN MOSES SPOKE TO THEM:
“FEAR YE NOT; STAND STILL; SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD.” (Exodus14:13)

VERSE 3:
THEN GOD PARTED ALL THE WATER AS MOSES STRETCHED OUT HIS HAND;
AND THAT DAY ALL OF GOD’S CHILDREN CROSSED OVER ON DRY LAND.
SO WHEN YOUR TRIALS ARE PRESSING YOU, AND YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO;
JUST REMEMBER WHAT GOD SAID - IN ISAIAH 40:31

Daddy, Many times over the past month, you have said that you were just “waiting on the Lord to come and take you home”….and He came for you on Saturday, and has renewed your strength and given you wings like an eagle, so you could “fly” home. Now in Heaven, you are able to walk and not faint and even run again like in your younger years…….and not be weary and especially not have any pain ever again!! And although we already miss you so very much, we would not bring you back, even if we could. I know I’ll see you in Heaven one day….and “WHAT A DAY, GLORIOUS DAY THAT WILL BE!!!” Becky Wagman 02/05/08
