2 Chronicles 6:36 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;
37 Yet if they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;
38 If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:
39 Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee.
As I read through this devotional scripture this morning I was reminded of a scripture oft quoted in the KJV following and Jehovah worshipping Church today.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
The scripture from 2 Chronicles Chapter 6 remind us that we have been taken captive. We are no longer a Sovereign Nation. We have been sold out by our "Elected" and "Appointed" Leaders. Our land and National Monuments have been sold and our ‘Leaders’ have become rich through ‘under-the-table’ and, in some cases, out-and-out bribery to sell our National Heritage.
Almost 10 years ago I watched a Senatorial Investigation into the possibility of opening our nations manufacturing to be available to the highest international bidder. These Senators heard from this Nation’s top CEO’s, who stated that to allow the buy-out of American Manufacturing would be death for the Nation and it’s Citizens.
Next came the Federal Chamber of Commerce, who stated that if our ‘Leaders’ allowed these International Corporations to enter into the American Manufacturing Business we would see an increase in competition for American goods. And, it would have no impact on our employment or financial status.
Here we are, about a decade from that fateful high-level meeting. The Senate denied the Experience and Business Acumen of our National Business Leaders and accepted the words of the Federal Chamber of Commerce, bureaucrats who have no clue how a business works, and opened our National Foundation, yes Manufacturing has always been the true financial foundation of the USA, to the rape of International Consortiums such as Insilco and Tyco.
For some reason, I do not understand, our ‘Leaders’ keep talking about the need for jobs, small business stimulus and our poor economical status. I am sure it is to keep us focused on our bad situation and to keep us from searching for the root cause and how to get out of it.
WHY? They have never once pointed at the lack of Manufacturing in America as a root cause. This Recession is the direct result of these ‘Leaders’ greed and none caring attitude toward our Nation, or its Citizens.
They talk about Retailers having a need to profit.
They talk about bailing out the Banks, which are now controlled by International Consortiums and Boards, with our TAX dollars.
They announce that the unemployment rate is going down because 100,000 fewer people have applied for unemployment and fail to mention that 200,000 have been dropped from unemployment because their benefits have run out. That means they no longer have to count them as unemployed, because they are no longer collecting unemployment benefits.
I am going to paraphrase a statement I once heard from a recording of President Harry S. Truman: It is impossible for an HONEST politician to get rich while in office.
We can NOT survive as only a nation of consumers. Preying on each other for services and products while the money pool continues to dry up. Without Manufacturing, and all of its support businesses, in the United States of America we are doomed as a Nation.
We must return with all of our heart and with all of our soul to Jehovah and ask Him how do we overcome this corrupt ‘Leadership’ and bring our Nations Foundation of Manufacturing back where it belongs.
We must begin to seek Jehovah’s Guidance and Providence to return us to our own Sovereign Nation once more.
